Blues are active in the muddy shallows around tinker creek cove. Caught a 16 pounder 2 weeks ago. The big shad are over by the dam but havent come up yet. Drift over to the bottom of the stairs and toss into the 25-30 foot area. Sink it to the bottom for a net full.

When I was at OU I did a group project on the affect of arsenic in the citys tap water. The group found that babies had been born in the area with bladder cancer. Looks like arsenic wasn’t the only poison being consumed.

So I have 2 hawks nesting in my backyard. They’ve been waking me up every morning for about a month now. Recorded this at 6:50AM this morning 20 feet from my bedroom window. Love it!

Sure is a great time of year to be on the water.

We planted potatoes, garlic, peas, okra, sugar baby watermelon, snow peas, mini tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, red peppers, radishes, turnips, beets, squash and a few more that I don’t remember. It should be a busy little farm.
