Almost done with this months supply of wood on the home gym. I’m expecting a lot of weight needing to be supported so I’m going with 21 4×4 support posts each concreted down to the sandstone, which is about two feet down. Wont be needing metal crossbeam fasteners since I’m shaping the posts to form fit the 2×6’s directly underneath the joints see pic fir example.

Anyway, dimensions are 12×16′. Will be shingled with a couple little windows, an AC unit, NordicTrack E8100 olympic smith machine, recumbant exercise bike, dumbell set, punching bag, roman chair, chair dip pegs on the wall, wooden dummy & a small throwing mat.
