  1. Hey Dave,
I went out last weekend with minnows using a slip rig setup from the bank with absolutely no bites all day. The lake looked down and I felt like I may have been in too shallow. What rig are you using with those shad and where are you seeing action.

**I was in the Spring Creek areas here:

    • that whole area over there is about 2 feet deep. gets like 8ft deep in the channels if you’re gonna fish there make sure you hit one. the one i know of is on the north side just across from your map marker.

I mainly fish for catfish. Are you trying for crappie on those minnows or catfish? need some shad? using santee rig with about 5 feet lift if deeper than 15 feet, if 0-15 ft just letting them hit the bottom.

last week i caught a little one here https://www.google.com/maps/place/35%C2%B037'05.4%22N+97%C2%B023'46.8%22W/@35.618179,-97.3985147,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d35.618179!4d-97.396326
