Ever finish this??
yup lemme see if i can get pictures of it from the guy that has it
done
what did you use for the bottom basket?
I started with steel rods about 3 feet long taken from old decayed giant electrical spools. They were cooked real good in a camp fire & left to cool as the fire went out. This annealed the steel & made it very easy to bend into shape. I bent and cut them into L shapes and welded the longer portion of the L to the pipe. After those were all in place i measured the circumference of the basket and shaped & welded 4 more rods together to form the two rings. If I had spent more time & effort I’m fully capable of producing a much higher quality basket, but since I was making it for free for a friend I just slapped something functional together quickly. It’s a little bit off but catches discs like a champ.
